The FALCON Tactical Searchlight & Illumination Platform family from Wiseled delivers powerful, high-intensity light engineered for military, maritime and border operations. Specifically designed to Mil Spec, FALCON provides exceptional illumination, both IR and White light for integration with land vehicles, vessels, and fixed installations. Defence, security, and infrastructure operators benefit from operational reliability, advanced searchlight controllability, and consistent illumination performance from any power source from 12 – 36V DC
Based on end user feedback, with many sets now active in Ukraine, the FALCON Searchlight family can be adapted to local user requirement and legislation with options which include green laser dazzler, IR pointer and illumination as well as the anchor, 1-40 degree zoom white light – with a range of up to 9km.
Mission-Driven Applications
Engineered for maritime applications, the FALCON Searchlight Platform maintains optimal illumination and searchlight performance in fog, rain, spray, and darkness. Rugged, corrosion-resistant construction, maritime specific connector and adaptive beam control assist in navigation, interdiction, and search and rescue (SAR) missions with confidence and reliability.
FALCON delivers operators precise, high-output searchlight illumination for rapid identification of threats, both overt and covert with IR options. This enables passive and active monitoring as well as deterrence along borders and perimeters.
For critical infrastructure, the FALCON Tactical Searchlight Platform provides intense illumination in both range and power. Compliance with MIL-STD-810H and related standards ensures resilient searchlight performance under adverse environmental conditions.
Demonstrated in SAR missions, FALCON’s high-intensity searchlight delivers zoomable illumination 0.25 lux at 8,940 meters to enable efficient searches during darkness. The zoomable beam enables both area and precise searches.
FALCON’s adaptable searchlight beam width and illumination intensity provide flexibility for dynamic patrols and crowd management. The system has been incorporated into riot control systems for a major European police force. Operators can rapidly tune searchlight and illumination settings to maintain situational awareness and deterrence when required.
FALCON has been battle tested in Ukraine, enabling mobile firing teams to locate and interdict Shaheed type one way attack vehicles at night. It provides a cost-effective enabler in both manual and automated formats. A key part of layered area defence and high intensity critical infrastructure protection is the ability to interdict UAS with cost effective solutions – FALCON is part of this capability mix. Visual identification of the UAV can be achieved at a range of 5km, providing gun and interceptor drone teams with time to prepare and react.
